"Do not grow weary in doing good." — Galatians 6:9
Have you ever started an exercise program with great enthusiasm...
Only to stop a few weeks later?
You're not alone.
The secret isn't finding the perfect workout.
The secret is building a routine you can actually maintain.
Start Small
Don't begin with an hour.
Begin with ten minutes.
Success builds confidence.
Confidence builds consistency.
Consistency builds results.
Schedule Your Workout
Treat your chair workout like an important appointment.
Morning.
Afternoon.
Evening.
Pick a time you'll actually keep.
Make It Enjoyable
One of my favorite parts of teaching exercise is choosing different styles of music.
Some days we enjoy Gospel praise.
Other days it's Disco.
Latin.
Country.
Christmas.
Walking workouts.
Movement should be something you look forward to.
Don't Chase Perfection
Miss a day?
Don't quit.
Simply begin again tomorrow.
Consistency isn't about never missing.
It's about always returning.
Celebrate Every Victory
You exercised today?
Celebrate it.
You smiled while moving?
Celebrate it.
You completed five extra minutes?
Celebrate it.
Every healthy choice matters.
Build Temple Maintenance Into Your Day
I often remind people that exercise isn't punishment.
It's stewardship.
You're caring for the incredible body God has entrusted to you.
That changes everything.
A Final Encouragement
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is faithfulness.
One chair workout.
One day.
One week.
One month.
One year.
Before you know it, you'll look back and realize just how far you've come.
Paul's Chair Challenge
Today...
Move.
Smile.
Pray.
Repeat tomorrow.
Then repeat again.
Because healthy habits are built one day at a time.
Remember...
Movement is medicine.
Consistency creates change.
Your body is God's temple.
Take care of it... one movement at a time.
